This is a small booklet that attempts to answer in simple terms the most frequently asked questions about public participation. It covers the definition of public participation in relation to the governance of a country, where citizens get the power to participate in public affairs, what the role of duty bearers (leaders) is in facilitating public participation, and what the benefits are to the citizens and the country when there is public participation.
