Urban land use planning: Monitoring and oversight guidelines. National Land Commission

These guidelines prepared by the National Land Commission is designed to aid county governments to prepare, approve, implement and review urban land use plans and facilitate the Commission undertake its monitoring and oversight role. It covers the process of preparing the City/Municipal and Urban Land Use Plans and stipulates the expected deliverables and the format of presenting the Urban Land Use Plans;   the framework for implementing Urban Land Use Plans; guidance on public participation; provides direction on costing and procuring planning services; and presents the monitoring and oversight criteria/benchmarks.
