Description
The County Model Legislation is meant to guide the 47 County Governments in the development of effective legislation that is aligned to the constitution of Kenya, 2010.The Legislation takes into account the changed realities of the new constitutional dispensation, including greater need for meaningful public participation, democratic space and accelerated reforms across all sectors, the realization of which is heavily premised on policy, legislative, institutional and administrative reforms. The Model Laws feature succinct summaries of all the key areas of county legislative and policy.
