Description
The goal of the policy is to “achieve gender equality and women’s empowerment in national development so as to enhance participation of women and men, boys and girls, vulnerable and marginalized groups for the attainment of sustainable development”. It seeks to realise the constitutional ideals of gender equality and non-discrimination. The policy sets, legislative and administrative measures to address the existing gaps in the realization of gender equality and women’s empowerment.
