Description

This is the second medium term plan (MTP II) for the implementation of Kenya Vision 2030, the country’s  development blueprint covering the period 2008 to 2030. Vision 2030 aims to transform Kenya into a newly industrialising, “middle-income country providing a high quality life to all its citizens by the year 2030”. Vision 2030 is implemented in successive five-year Medium-Term Plans, with the first such plan covering the period 2008 – 2012. MTP II outlines the main policies, legal and institutional reforms as well as programmes and projects that the Jubilee Government plans to implement during the period 2013-2017. The plan focuses on the full implementation of devolution in the context of a rapidly growing economy, promoting equity, inclusiveness, and employment to meet the needs of our youth. This medium term plan sets out the programmes, financing framework and the timelines that will guide the implementation of the promises made to the people of Kenya in the manifesto.
