Report on the audit of national and county policy and legislation in the trade and investment sector. 2018. Kenya Law Reform Commission, Council and Governors

This report highlights the lack of legislation that guides the development and growth sector and the need thereafter for harmonizing all related trade legislation at the national level to a central body that coordinates the implementation of trade policy.  The Public Partnership Act, 2012, ought to be reviewed with the aim of financing huge infrastructural development projects for both national and county governments. Public participation should be put in place where any Amendment Bill on any reviewed law is subjected to debate in either the national or county assemblies. The report highlighted that pending national policies  should be subjected to public participation.
