Description

The Citizen’s Guide to Access to Information Act outlines the roles of the actors in the extractive industry, specifies the information that the citizens can seek, provides the time frame for accessing the information, and provides an institutional framework in terms of what information needs to be sought and from which institutions. The guide was developed by ICJ Kenya which is involved in the extractive industry to advocate for good governance of natural resources by promoting access to information in the context of extractive governance.
